About

My PhD

My PhD aims to understand how technology can be better incorporated into citizen science and community-based projects in India to ensure robust biodiversity monitoring whilst promoting positive effects and minimising negative effects on human well-being

Objectives

1: To critically review and assess the extent of human well-being considerations and the social implications of digital technology adoption in wildlife-oriented citizen science projects.

2: To evaluate the extent to which and how community and individual well-being are considered alongside biodiversity outcomes in technology-based citizen projects in India

3: To develop guidelines for citizen scientists to apply digital technologies in a meaningful way in community-based projects that promote both well-being and biodiversity outcomes.
